Packed up ready to go for stage II, today we leave for Toronto for the night, intercept my Patagonia R1 Hoody (thanks mom and dad!), then fly to Santiago Chile tomorrow night and arrive Thursday morning. We will spend a few days in Santiago finding some killer sushi, bus to Puerto Montt, then over the Andies to Bariloche for a July 11th arrival! We are hoping for snow, dry sunny skies, no volcanic ash, and some killer mountain life.
So for now we leave the tranquil confines of warn lush green Michigan and family for a few months for Winter 2011 part II, but we hope to get a second Spring as well!
We will update everyone in a few days once we land at a little apartment in Santiago!

I'm waiting with anticipation for the continuation of your travel chronicles. I'm glad, so far, that you like the people of Santiago. A good start!
